The Raptors got off to a disaster of a start, but after they traded former All-Star forward Rudy Gay to the Sacramento Kings, they turned their season around. They finished with a record of 48-34, won the Atlantic Division and returned to the playoffs for the first time since they lost All-Star power forward Chris Bosh, earning the third-seed in the Eastern Conference. They took the sixth-seeded Brooklyn Nets to a seventh-game, but were eliminated from the playoffs when Paul Pierce blocked Kyle Lowry’s final shot.
Now, the Raptors will enter an offseason with plenty of questions, headlined by the free agency of Lowry and his backup, Greivis Vásquez. The Raptors would like to keep both players and Vásquez has continued to reiterate his desire to remain in Toronto for some time.
Whether or not the Raptors keep Lowry and/or Vásquez, they want to his a home run in the 2014 NBA Draft. One player the Raptors seem particularly enamored with and planned to work out is former Syracuse Orange point guard and Brampton, Ontario native Tyler Ennis.
Of course, Ennis, who is projected by many as a lottery pick, will almost certainly be off the board when the Raptors get on the clock with the 20th-overall pick.
According to Ryan Wolstat of The Toronto Sun, the Raptors are open trading up.
Masai says things we all expected: Open to anything (trading up) likes Ennis, fates of Lowry and Vasquez won't impact thought on taking a PG

Ennis averaged 12.9 points, 5.5 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game last season.
