Apple WWDC 2014: What wasn’t there

Also not making an appearance was the heavily anticipated iWatch.  Against what has been speculated, Apple’s wearable, supposedly in a circular watch shape, failed to make an appearance.  After the announcement of HealthKit early on in the keynote, it seemed all but certain the fitness focused iWatch would show up.  Unfortunately for eager consumers, that wasn’t the case.

Though the details surrounding the iWatch are still very speculative, Apple runs the risk of being late to the market with their product.  It would be fair to expect the device to make its much anticipated debut sometime this summer.  Apple is looking to make sure the product is near ready before tipping its hand.
