Athletes dabbling into the world of recreational drugs isn’t necessarily out of the unusual, though namely it seems to be marijuana. With the connection between the hip-hop world and sports you’d wonder if other drugs might cross over, like one of rap music’s favorites, molly.

More from Detroit Pistons

Now let’s be clear, not every hip hop song is about molly, and not every rapper is fond of taking the drug. Hell, Miley Cyrus even referenced it in the song ‘We Can’t Stop’ with the line “Dancing with Molly.” (She confirmed that she was referencing the drug). The drug has simply just become trendy to reference and I’m willing to say that out of all of the rappers and musicians who reference it, there are some, if not most, who aren’t actually taking it.

But it also means that there are those out there who enjoy taking the drug. It looks like Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Jennings might be one of those people.

In a video first posted to Instagram by The Game, but later deleted, it looks like Jennings is offering some molly to Los Angeles Lakers star Nick Young, who is also the boyfriend of rapper Iggy Azalea.

Jennings is seen in the videlo, shirtless, extending his hand and offering something to Young. You can’t make out what it is but it looks like a white pill. Now it could be a tic-tac or a mint, but rarely does anyone take the Altoid or tic-tac out of the container and hand it to you. It also looks to small to be an Altoid.

It is worth noting that the headline of the YouTube video says it is a pill. Young for his part, waves him off and doesn’t accept whatever is in his hand.
