NHL Playoffs bracket 2014: Stanley Cup Final set
The wildly exciting NHL Western Conference Finals wrapped up last night in Game 7 in Chicago. Unfortunately for the hometown fans of the defending Stanley Cup champions, their team lost to the LA Kings in a 5-4 overtime thriller.

Alec Martinez scored the improbable overtime game-winning and series clinching goal just over 5 minutes into the overtime period. The wrist shot deflected off Blackhawks defenseman Nick Leddy and just scooted by goalie Corey Crawford, who had no chance to save it in time.
With the win, the LA Kings advanced to their second Stanley Cup Finals in the last three years. They will face the Eastern Conference Champions, the New York Rangers in Game 1 on June 4th at 8 PM ET in the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
