NBA Draft Rumors: Hawks, Kings and Nuggets interested in Tyler Ennis
By Josh Hill
The NBA Draft is just around the corner and it seems that the more we look at the top prospects in the class, the more they seem ti rise up the boards of teams in the lottery. The most recent example of this is Syracuse guard Tyler Ennis, who has gone from being a guy some projected as possibly slipping to the Boston Celtics second first-round pick but has now seemingly solidified his place in the lottery.

As Jonathan Santiago of Cowbell Kingdom passes along, Ennis will not only work out for hte Kings but is expected to meet with the Orlando Magic, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets and Denver Nuggets this week. Except for the Hawks, all of the team looking at Ennis have picks in the lottery with the Magic holding two of them.
"Ennis will also be heading down to Orlando and has workouts scheduled with Atlanta, Charlotte and Denver. The former Syracuse point guard has already worked out for the Toronto Raptors"
The fact of the matter is, the lottery will be where Ennis goes as projections of him slipping outside of the top 14 picks seem to be as dated as ever. Even if he makes past these batch of teams, there’s little reason for the Minnesota Timberwolves to pass on him and the Phoenix Suns wouldn’t have a problem taking him with the first of their hundred first round draft picks.
If all else fails, it’s hard to see Ennis slipping past No. 15 overall and the Hawks, but crazier things have happened. Either way, Ennis is drawing serious interest and seems to only be helping his stock.
