Tom Brady used to be somebody.

What’s that you say? He is three-time Super Bowl champion. He is the quarterback of the New England Patriots and one of the most famous athletes in the world. He is married to the stunningly beautiful Gisele Bundchen. What more could a guy want, right?
A mansion with a moat, that’s what. And that’s what Tom Brady used to have, now that he and Gisele sold their place to Dr. Dre for $40 million.
As a young (ish) male adult, I am in the same position as so many in that there is a lot about Tom Brady’s life of which I could be envious. The fame. The athletic prowess. All of it. But for everything Brady has going for him, the single thing that I was most jealous of was the fact that he had a moat. Now what? All I know is that better be the top priority when he and Gisele start moving into their new place.
Located in Brentwood, CA, the 22,000 square foot mansion has two wings, eight bedrooms, and a six-car garage.
As for Dr. Dre, it makes sense that he had some spare cash lying around. Just this week, Apple just bought Beats, Dr. Dre’s line of headphones and speakers, for $3 billion.
Looking to spend some of his new disposable income, he probably thought to himself: “You know what I could use? A mansion with a moat.”
I guess now I have a reason to be jealous of Dr. Dre.
