Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and “The Newsroom” star Olivia Munn may or may not be an item after TMZ recently caught the couple kissing on the Los Angeles set of Munn’s hit HBO show. In case you thought Rodgers only spent his time playing football and selling insurance, it appears that’s not so.

More from Green Bay Packers

According to TMZ, “There have been rumors about the two hookin’ up for months — but they’ve been pretty private with their relationship … until now.”

On Monday, pictures surfaced of Rodgers and Munn kissing over the weekend, apparently confirming the rumors that the two are indeed dating. That may not change the Packers’ fortunes much for the future, but it does help to prove that Rodgers is indeed a human and not a football-playing cyborg designed by scientists.

The relationship between Rodgers and Munn was first reported on in May. At that time, it wasn’t clear whether the relationship was serious, but TMZ’s report seems to make things look official.

Munn, 33, has starred as Sloan Sabbith in “The Newsroom” since 2012, in addition to prior roles on “The Daily Show” and “Perfect Couples.” She’s also appeared in numerous other television programs, films, documentaries and magazines, plus she’s done prominent charity work with groups like PETA.

Rodgers, 30, has been the Packers’ starting quarterback since 2008. He missed a significant portion of the 2013 season due to injury, but still finished with 17 touchdowns, six interceptions and 2,536 passing yards over nine contests. He returned for the season finale to beat Chicago and clinch a playoff spot, but couldn’t lead the team to a second Super Bowl victory under his guidance.
