Coco Crisp robs home run, gives Angels fireworks finger wag (Video)
By Cory Buck
Coco Crisp may have been surprised to see the home run fireworks going off in Angel Stadium after he robbed Josh Hamilton of a home run, but he certainly wasn’t phased. Instead he looked at them, ball in glove, and with his free hand gave the fireworks a good old Dikembe Mutumbo-style finger wag.

As you can see in the video below, the catch is a beaut. Crisp had to elevate with perfect timing to make that catch and then lower his glove ever so slightly to adjust as the ball dropped. It’s the second awesome play by an Oakland outfielder in the last week.
Here’s the catch. The full Yahoo! Sports article with accompanying tweets can be found here.
Unfortunately, no one caught in full camera motion Coco Crisp’s finger wag. We see him eyeing up those fireworks at the end, but the closest sign we got of the Mutmbo-ism was an image as seen below.
I’m genuinely bummed we didn’t get to see that bad boy wag of Crisp’s in full. We need a new finger wag GIF. The other ones feel old and overused. Let’s get a web redemption or something and recreate the whole moment so that we can all GIF the crap out of it then move on with our lives.
