One of those teams are the Milwaukee Bucks and with the No. 3 overall pick they have options as to what they can do. It’s a certainty that at least two of the top four players will be available when the Bucks go on the clock and the team is working out one of those players this weekend.
According to SI.com’s Chris Mannix, the Bucks will be working out Australian guard Dante Exum before he auditions for the Orlando Magic.
The Bucks need a point guard of the future to lead them and Exum seems to be one of the most exciting names in the draft. He’s unproven though and generally unknown to both NBA audiences and front offices, but there’s enough hype around his skills that he figures to be a top 5 pick.
Orlando similarly has had eyes on drafting a guard and Exum is long time friends with Victor Oladipo, the Magic’s shooting guard. Milwaukee and Orlando aren’t the only two teams who covet Exum on some level, but they’ll be the first lines of defense when it comes to not allowing him to slide down the draft order in two weeks.
