By Josh Hill
The Donald Sterling saga just won’t go away it seems as the soon-to-be former owner of the Los Angeles Clippers is continuing his fight against the NBA and is still planning on suing the league for $1 billion in damages.

It appears that the NBA has had enough though, as after idling sitting by while Donald Sterling burps and spits up all over himself throughout this process, the league is taking action.
According to Michael McCann of SI.com, the NBA is preparing to countersue Donald Sterling should he press on with his $1 billion lawsuit against the league.
"he league will answer Sterling’s complaint by August 11, and sources tell SI.com there is a good chance the league will countersue Sterling. The NBA could raise a tortious interference with contractual relations claim, and contend that Sterling has interfered in the business relations of the NBA and one of its franchises by interfering with the sale of the team."
It’s been said from the start that NBA has an unbeatable case against Sterling but he’s continuing his fight in the worst fit of pride we’ve ever seen. Sterling cannot win — even if he somehow actually does win — as he’s unwanted in the NBA and generally loathed by people with a conscious.
A countersuit by the NBA might end this mess, but it’s clear that Sterling is hot and bothered for the attention he’s getting and doesn’t want it to end anytime soon.
