Texans’ Bill O’Brien unsure if Andre Johnson will attend minicamp
By Mike Dyce
Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson’s future with the team is in doubt. He has skipped all Texans OTAs this offseason and it is still up in the air whether or not he will be at minicamp.

Johnson is fed up with the Texans’ lack of success and does not want to be a part of another rebuilding process. Apparently the communication isn’t even existent because Texans head coach Bill O’Brien, headed into his first season with the team, isn’t even sure if he will show up to minicamp on Tuesday.
“You know, again, I don’t know,” O’Brien said, via NFL.com. “I don’t know.”
Texans running back Arian Foster doesn’t want Johnson to leave and posted a hilarious video to his Instagram begging Johnson to stay “because you means that much to me.”
The whole process contradicts earlier claims O’Brien made that talks with Johnson have been positive. If they had been positive Johnson would show up, and I guess that remains to be seen.
But you can’t blame Johnson for wanting to be traded to a team that has a championship shot. Especially when the other option is remaining in Houston with a rookie head coach, at least in the NFL, and the quarterback situation up in the air.
