Last season the Phoenix Suns caught many basketball experts off guard with their fantastic play as they started off the season fast and everybody kept waiting for them to hit the wall.

A large part of why they exceeded expectations and took until the second to last day of the season to hit that wall was because of the fantastic play of P.J. Tucker and Eric Bledsoe. Suns General Manger, Ryan McDonough took, notice of this play and stated that he wants to re-sign the two as soon as possible.

"“We’ll try to do that as soon as possible and not let it get to the point where you’d have to get an offer and we’d match it,” Suns General Manager Ryan McDonough said.”"

It comes as no surprise that McDonough wants to sign Tucker and Bledsoe as soon as he can. The two played well last season and should be hot commodities on the free agent market. Allowing them to sit out there would do nothing but drive the price up.

Tucker and Bledsoe spent much of their careers without making much of an impact on other teams or the league. Last season with Phoenix however, they showed everybody they were the real deal under new head coach Jeff Hornacek and everything Tucker and Bledsoe did well was highlighted. Tucker went from an okay player on a bad team to a full season starter that the team relied on and will seemingly continue to rely on for years to come. The same goes for Bledsoe who struggled through injuries all season long but has a bright future ahead with the Suns, should he remain there this offseason.
