The NBA Draft is right around the corner but not everyone is falling over themselves to figure out who they want to draft in the lottery and who will trade up and down. One team in the lottery looking to get out are the Denver Nuggets but they’re not going to settle for just any old offer when it comes to moving the No. 11 pick.

More from Chicago Bulls

According to Chad Ford of ESPN.com in his latest mock draft, the Bulls and Nuggets are still discussing the No. 11 overall pick in the draft and a trade is starting to look more and more likely. But while a trade is being discussed and has been being discussed, it’s far from a done deal and the Bulls may not be able to move up.

If that’s the case, then Ford predicts that Shabazz Napier would be the Bulls top choice for one of their two picks, as he holds a slight edge over Syracuse’s Tyler Ennis.

Chicago holds the No. 16 and No. 19 overall picks in the draft and it’s been reported that the team wants nothing to do with either of those picks nor the rookie scale contracts that come with them. Still, the Bulls could use some young talent on their roster and the draft is crazy deep this year.

Adding Napier as a possible backup for Derrick Rose is a smart idea, but it’s one that will come as a potential last resort as the Bulls desperately try to move up into the lottery and shed both of their draft picks.
