The NBA Draft is just around the corner and the teams at the top of the lottery are starting to decide who is going to make the final cut on their short list and who will be cast away and forgotten about.

More from NBA

One of those teams are the Orlando Magic, and it appears that they already have a short list that keeps on getting shorter as the draft approaches.

According to Chad Ford from ESPN.com, the Orlando Magic seem to have narrowed their choices for the No. 4 overall pick down to three players with two of them being clear standouts.

"There have been. They’ve been big fans of Marcus Smart, but I’ve heard neither of his workouts have been particularly strong. The Exum workout was a wow I’m told. But so was the Noah Vonleh workout. While I don’t completely rule out Smart there, I think it will either be Vonleh or Exum. Some of their choice may come down to who they believe will be available to them at 12."

Dante Exum and Noah Vonleh were in two very different places when mock drafts started getting churned out but they now appear to be eye-to-eye for the Magic at No. 4 overall. Both make great additions to the Magic’s roster and either can be taken without much pain involved for Orlando.

They own the NO. 12 overall pick in the draft, meaning they can see if Marcus Smart falls to them should they take Vonleh or they can grab another forward prospect should they take Exum. Basically, Orlando has options and their short list containing only three players for the fourth overall pick shouldn’t be mistaken as the Magic having things figured out.
