Don Draper pitches LeBron James on returning to Cleveland Cavaliers (Video)

The Miami Heat went down in a blaze of not-so-glory in the 2014 NBA Finals, and with the loss there has been much speculation over the future of LeBron James’ future. Will he stay in South Beach or will he opt out of his contract and become a free agent?

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

Much of that speculation has centered on a potential return to his original home—the Cleveland Cavaliers. Well, if Don Draper of AMC’s famed Mad Men has anything to say about it, James will indeed become a member of the Heat. Why? One word: Nostalgia.

Draper pulls out his best stuff in pitching LeBron, even saying “it (nostalgia) takes us to a place where we ache to go again,” and many other quips from one of the most iconic scenes in Mad Men history.

As for the reality of James actually making the move back to the Cleveland Cavaliers again? Well, that remains a mystery to us all. However, we should all know a lot more following his return from a family vacation in the next few weeks.

“I haven’t even begun to even think about what my future holds or what I have in store,” James said on Tuesday, via Cleveland.com. “I will sit down with my team at some point, my family as well. Today definitely wasn’t the day. If my family is happy, then I’m happy and able to perform at a high level.”

We all know the power of Don Draper, and if LeBron is listening, he makes one heck of a pitch for his services back in Cleveland.
