NBA Rumors: Jimmer Fredette may play in Greece next season
By Josh Hill
The career of former BYU standout Jimmer Fredette has not really panned out the way he may have hoped and it seems as though the NBA might not be the right place for him at this moment. He failed to catch on with the Sacramento Kings and he didn’t do much better with a Chicago Bulls team that failed to really use him at all or sign him before he would have been eligible to play in the postseason.

As a result, the career of Fredette moving forward might take him to Greece as it appears he has interest there and the money would be incredibly better than if he were to stay in the States and try to make it in the NBA.
This might actually be the best thing for Fredette’s career, as we’ve seen players head over and play international basketball and then draw interest once again in the NBA. Fredette may never become the player we thought he might, but he can hone his skills overseas or at the very least have a career that pays him well.
Either way, basketball is still in Fredette’s, it’s just not hte type of basketball we thought he’d be playing.
