The New York Knicks are looking to make some waves in the draft this year and they’re currently trying to do so without any first round picks to speak of. But Phil Jackson and company are looking to both buy and trade for first rounders and we may have a potential Draft Day deal in the works.

Back at the trade deadline in February, there were 11th hour rumblings that the Knicks were looking to move Iman Shumpert and those talks are apparently being revisited with not the Los Angeles Clippers but with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

This is all a lot to process, but the Knicks are apparently very serious about getting as many draft picks as they can and they could end up with as many as three or four picks in the first round when all is said and done.
In addition to the Shumpert first rounder and one that they’d buy, the Knicks could be looking to acquire one or both of the Chicago Bulls first rounders in a Carmelo Anthony sign-and-trade deal.
