After beginning the 2014 college baseball tournament with 64 teams, after some tough battles, we are now down to the final two teams who will determine a new national champion in the sport as the Vanderbilt Commodores and Virginia Cavaliers will begin their best-of-three series in the College World Series finals on Monday night.

More from Mens Baseball

Throughout most of the college baseball season, these two squads have been the best that the sport would ask for, which makes it all that much better that they will battle it out for the ultimate prize in the game in Omaha.

Virginia, the preseason no. 1 team in the country according to many outlets, punched their ticket to the finals on Saturday with a 4-1 win over the scrappy Ole Miss Rebels, who had a much better run in the tournament than people thought they would have. The Hoos have yet to be defeated in Omaha throughout the course of the College World Series.

Vanderbilt also earned their way into the finals with a win on Saturday, but it wasn’t nearly as easy as it was for their opponents.

After losing to Texas Longhorns, 4-0, on Friday, the Commodores went head-to-head one more time with Texas and were able to get the dramatic 10th inning, walk-off win to secure their place in the final series.

Monday night, we’ll start the journey to crown a national champion, and here’s how you can watch all the action live:
