With less than 24 hours to go until the NBA Draft, it’s now crunch time for the Cleveland Cavaliers in regards to deciding what they’d like to do with their no. 1 overall pick. Since the injury to the player they wanted most, Joel Embiid, they have been torn between the other two potential candidates, Jabari Parker and Andrew Wiggins.

Well, according to Andy Katz, it seems as if they’re torn no longer.
It’s really as simple as, if they select Parker with the pick come Thursday night, expect him to be dealt to one of the many teams that have been calling to trade up. If they take Wiggins, then you can expect to see him in a Cavaliers uniform in the next few months.
If the Cavs take Jabari Parker, I could see a trade happening. If Cavs take Andrew Wiggins, then likely keeping the pick.

Katz also reported earlier in the evening that the Cavaliers are indeed fielding the calls from teams that want to get up there such as the Celtics, Magic and Jazz, and they all want to get up there to get Parker.
Aside from Embiid, the Cavaliers have been a bit intrigued about potentially taking Wiggins, and there really hasn’t been that much buzz around them and Parker, so this thought process makes complete sense.
We won’t know for sure until Thursday night.
