The NBA Draft order has officially been set as the trade deadline to move picks from team to team has passed and the order has been locked in as is. This doesn’t mean we won’t see any trades happen during the draft as they happen every year, rather they won’t be league approved until after the draft is over.

That being said, the order of the draft is set which means teams can only make trades after they’ve drafted a player as the pick itself cannot change hands like we see happen in the NFL Draft all the time.

Cleveland was being looked at as a team who could possibly be moving the first overall pick but despite offers and talks it has stayed with the Cavaliers. That doesn’t mean the guy picked with the selection will remain with the Cavaliers but officially the first overall pick in the draft will be made by the Cavaliers.

Here’s a look at the final NBA Draft order now that the pre-draft trade deadline has passed.
