The Charlotte Hornets are one of the fastest rising organizations in all of the NBA, and with the ninth overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, they chose to select former Indiana Hoosiers forward Noah Vonleh. Much of the speculation surrounding Vonleh prior to the draft was that he would potentially land in the top five to seven picks, and with that, Charlotte seemingly attracts significant value here.
Vonleh is considered to be a high “upside” player, and the 6-foot-10 forward is incredibly long and proficient at rebounding. Let’s take a look at what the “experts” on Twitter thought of the selection.
Feel like Vonleh and Steve Clifford is a good match. Slipping can have its benefits

Let's Goooooo!!! Vonleh was the one I wanted the most in the draft. Him and Jefferson will be dynamic as a stretch 4. He reminds me of Bosh.

Of course, there is always the negative side to any selection, and Noah Vonleh was no exception.
Classic Charlotte pick. Congrats they got the first bust of the night IMO with Vonleh.
