The Phoenix Suns were a team armed with a lot of ammunition to move up in the NBA Draft with three number one picks after a surprising 48-34 season that saw them barely miss the Western Conference Playoffs.

With the Suns on the clock with their first of three picks in the top 27 picks, they took North Carolina State small forward T.J. Warren.

Warren was one of the best players in the ACC and the nation last year, but was overshadowed by Jabari Parker who stole the ACC Player of the Year Award from him, despite Warren 24.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game for the Wolfpack last year.

The 6-8, 215-pound small forward may have been an underrated player in college last year, but he should find a home in the desert with players like Goran Dragic, Eric Bledsoe, Miles Plumlee, Alex Len, Marcus Morris and Markief Morris to give the Suns a boost to make the playoffs this upcoming year.
