The NBA Draft is underway and the picks are starting to finally fly off the board. After months of waiting in anticipation, the draft is now finally showing us where the prospects we’ve watched over the last few years will go.

More from NBA

So far in the draft we have seen a lot of strange things happening, most specifically teams not making a trade until we were into the late part of the lottery order but the Phoenix Suns were never that concerned with the lay of the land at No. 14 overall. Phoenix has a wealth of picks to play with and their first at No. 14 was never one that they were too concerned with making or breaking their draft.

Ultimately, the Suns decided to take North Carolina State standout T.J. Warren with the No. 14 overall pick in the draft.

The Suns had made a pre-draft promise to Warren which means they lived up to their word in taking him. He’s an outstanding prospect to add to an already budding team and Phoenix is walking away with a great player to add to the mix as they try and turn 2014-15 into an even better season than they just had.
