NBA Rumors: Kevin Love will not be dealt to Warriors on draft night, talks resume
By Jack Crosby
With the NBA Draft set to take place in just a few hours, the trade talks are in full swing. Aside from the Cleveland Cavaliers potentially dealing the no. 1 overall pick, all eyes are on whether or not the Minnesota Timberwolves will pull the trigger on sending Kevin Love to the Golden State Warriors, especially since talks picked back up recently.
While it’s still a possibility, and anything can happen within the next few hours and when the even gets underway, Marc Stein of ESPN reports that it’s unlikely that Love will be dealt this evening, however the talks between the teams will resume regardless.
Even with the talks breaking up once already, it seems as if Love heading out to Golden State will happen eventually, just not during the draft on Thursday night.

The trouble with the talks center around whether or not the Warriors would include stud shooting guard Klay Thompson. There are a lot of people that don’t want to see Thompson included in the deal, even teammate Andre Iguodala recently expressed the fact that he’s against the idea.
“That’s not going to happen,” Iguodala told Sirius XM on Thursday. “I want to clear that up right now. We should not trade Klay Thompson. “I tell Klay this every day. I text Klay and say, ‘Don’t worry. I’m your man. I’m going to make sure you get paid. I’m going to get you the max (contract). You’ll be taken care of. Don’t stress.'”
It seems that, at least for Thursday, Iguodala has nothing to worry about.
