There were no trades in the first two picks despite the discussion, but now it appears that things could begin to shake up.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Sacramento Kings and Boston Celtics are discussing a trade.
Wojnarowski’s report states that the Kings would send Ben McLemore to the Celtics in exchange for the No. 6 pick. The Celtics were believed to be targeting Joel Embiid, but there is a good chance he will not fall to them in the first round so the pick becomes expendable.
Whether or not a trade goes down remains to be seen, but it remains a real possibility.
