NBA Trade: Chicago Bulls to acquire Doug McDermott from Denver Nuggets
By Josh Hill
Usually in the NBA Draft we see plenty of trades get made in the lottery , but this year has been different in that we’ve made it through the first ten picks with no trades havering been made or proposed.
According to Sam Amick from USA Today, the Chicago Bulls will be acquiring Doug McDermott from the Denver Nuggets.
Marc J. Spears then followed that up with confirmation of the proposed trade and the picks that Chicago will be sending back to Denver in exchange.
The trade is the first big deal of the draft and it’s one that lands the Bulls the shooter they need. As for the Nuggets, they still have a chance to grab the point guard they desperately need as Shabazz Napier and Tyler Ennis are both looking like options with either the No. 16 or No. 19 pick and that’s something that Denver will be considering.

It’s a trade that might shake up things in the 20s as well, since the Miami Heat have been looking to trade up and draft Napier and the Toronto Raptors have been hoping that Ennis falls to them at No. 20 overall.
