The NBA Draft is into the second round but the trades are still being made at a pretty slow pace. They’re nevertheless being made and that’s something that is keeping things interesting in a round that is typically hard to watch.

There are still some solid names out there to be had and one of them those players got selected and promptly traded to kick things off in round two. According to Adrian Wojnarowski that Utah Jazz and Memphis Grizzlies have struck a trade that sees Memphis pick u pa very solid big man option to add to their bench.

Woj then reported a short time later that Stokes had been moved from the Utah Jazz to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Stokes would have worked in Utah but the Jazz clearly liked what the Grizzlies were offering and didn’t covet him all that much. As for Memphis, the Grizzlies are getting a guy who they can develop as a role player and a prospect who is staying in his college state, something that might help him adjust faster since his surroundings aren’t jarred too much.
