The NBA Draft is right around the corner and that means that we’re going to start hearing about where players will fall and who will benefit later in the draft from having a player take a tumble down the draft board.

One of the players we’ve been watching fall, through no real fault of his own, is Syracuse point guard Tyler Ennis. He was once considered to possibly be one of the top guards in the draft but the cream as risen to the top and Ennis seems to be resting just underneath it.
That’s apparently good news for the Toronto Raptors who plan on taking him with the No. 20 overall pick in the draft.
On Mem-Tor deal @ESPNSteinLine reported. Look for Raptors to target Clint Capela at 22. Spurs were hoping he fell to 30.

Raptors will consider Capela at #20, but think it’s increasingly likely that Tyler Ennis will fall to them there. Ennis > Capela

So if Mem-Tor deal goes through (& sounds like a draft night decision), Raptors would end up with both Ennis at 20 and Capela at 22 ...

Having Ennis fall to the Raptors at No. 20 overall was a scenario that was growing more and more likely as the weeks passed as we approached the draft and it’s now looking like it will indeed happen.
There’s a chance that someone takes Ennis before, as the Boston Celtics at No. 17 overall could be looking at a point guard and Ennis figures to be the best available player there.
Toronto will have options if this deal with the Memphis Grizzlies gets pulled off, but it’s clear that they know who they want and won’t be afraid to go get him.
