1. Joseph Fauria, TE, Detroit Lions
18 catches, 207 yards, 11.5 YPC, 7 TDs – 38.8% TD Rate
Not only does this undrafted rookie top these rankings, but he is a considerable distance ahead of second-place Davis. All Fauria did was catch touchdowns, accounting for nearly a quarter of the Lions’ aerial scores (7 of 29 TDs) despite having only 18 of the team’s 371 passes caught on the year.
Perhaps, with the Lions’ tenth-overall selection of tight end Eric Ebron in last months’ draft, they are envisioning a tight end duo that’s as powerful as the Gronkowski-Aaron Hernandez duo once was in New England.
