While multiple outlets have reported that Chris Bosh has opted out of the contract he signed with the Miami Heat in 2010, NBA.com’s David Aldridge reports that’s not the case after speaking with the big man’s agent.
Chris Bosh's agent says he has not yet decided whether to opt out. Bosh has same agent as Wade & Haslem, who have decided to opt out.

It’s certainly an interesting development, given it would have made all the sense in the world for Bosh to opt out around the same time Udonis Haslem and Dwyane Wade did.

The assumption is that those three players, along with LeBron James, are working in concert and the plan is for each player to opt-out and re-sign on contracts with Miami that give the team flexibility to add more pieces. There’s no reason to believe that anything has changed in that respect, even considering Aldridge’s report. Expect Bosh to opt out shortly, which will give Miami around $55 million in cap space to play with this summer, the most of any team in the league.
ESPN’s Chris Broussard, who is one of the many to report Bosh has already opted out, says the two-time champion will seek a a contract worth around $75 million once the free agency period begins in July.
