NBA Rumors: Jason Kidd to coach Milwaukee Bucks?
By Jack Crosby
After getting off to a rather shaky start in his first season as a head coach, Jason Kidd ended up doing rather well, all things considered, and led the team to a 44-38 record, which was good enough for sixth in the Eastern Conference and a trip to the Eastern Conference Playoffs. They ended up losing in the second round to the Miami Heat, but it was a successful debut nonetheless.

However, following that success, Kidd may have gotten a little too greedy and power hungry, which could ultimately not only departing Brooklyn after just one season, but heading off to be the new head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks.
According to a report from the New York Post, Kidd recently approached Nets management with some demands, and not only were they unhappy with that, they gave the Bucks permission to talk to Kidd, which they have.
"According to a league source, Kidd recently approached ownership with a series of demands, including the role of overseeing the Nets’ basketball operations department in addition to his head coaching responsibilities. The source said Kidd didn’t want general manager Billy King to be dismissed, but wanted to be given a title and placed above him in the organizational hierarchy. The franchise then was approached by the Bucks to speak with Kidd about the prospect of hiring him, and have done so with the Nets’ permission."
Larry Drew has just completed his first season as the coach of the Bucks, so the motive of bringing Kidd in isn’t very clear. Still, it seems as if Kidd’s stay in Brooklyn may be short-lived.
