E’Twaun Moore to become unrestricted free agent
After two years in Orlando, the Magic have decided not to extend a qualifying offer to third-year guard E’Twaun Moore. This most likely means the Magic are not going to have him back on the roster.

Moore was drafted by the Boston Celtics and spent one year there before being traded to the Rockets in a deal that sent Courtney Lee to Boston.
Moore was later picked up by the Magic, after the Rockets waived him.
In Orlando he played both point guard and shooting guard. His main role was being a scorer off the bench.
With Evan Fournier being brought over in the Arron Afflalo deal and the Elfrid Payton being taken in the draft, there wasn’t much of a role left for Moore in Orlando.
The move also saves Orlando some cap space.
Last season, Moore averaged 6 points and an assist in 20 minutes per game.
While Moore’s time in Orlando appears to be over, it would be very suprising to not see him get another chance in the NBA. He showed definite improvement this season and he’s a solid shooter. It’s rare for a 24-year-old that can shoot the ball to not find a roster spot.
