Washington Wizards’ center Marcin Gortat is one of the most intriguing unrestricted free agents.

More from NBA

Gortat is a true center in a league that’s short on the position and is a pretty good one at that. That’s why several teams, including the Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat are all expected to pursue him. The Wizards, however, are the front runners to re-sign Gortat and have reportedly made him their top priority.

In fact, the Wizards even recently visited Gortat in Poland and returned to D.C. remaining confident they will get a deal done to keep Gortat.

While the Wizards work hard to try to re-sign him, Gortat is obviously not stressing free agency. He continues to have pictures of his trip to his homeland posted on instagram (which has included a pig). The latest collection involves Gortat and teammate Chris Singleton riding military vehicles on the streets of Poland.

Gortat and every other player set to become a free agent, either unrestricted or restricted, only have a few more hours to go before the officially become free agents after midnight on Tuesday morning.

Gortat averaged 13.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 54.2% from the field and 68.6% from the charity stripe last season. Singleton put up 3.0 points and 2.2 rebounds in 10.0 minutes per game while appearing in just 25 games. He shot 37.3% from the field,  36.8% from beyond the arc and 72.0% from the free throw line last season.
