Davis joined up wit the Clippers in the middle of the season after the Orlando Magic bought him out and he now seems to be looking for a new deal. But according to Brad Turner, the Clippers may end up bringing Davis back as they have interest in re-signing him this summer.
Davis wasn’t as effective for the Clippers as they maybe would have liked but that clearly hasn’t scared them off of taking him back next season.
He may get interest from other teams but the Clippers seem to be the best place for him at the moment. The question though is what the Clippers offseason plans are for signing other free agents as Davis likely isn’t a priority over someone like Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James or even someone like Nick Young.
Still, Davis is likely to hear form the Clippers this week and it’ll be up to him on whether he returns or tests the Clippers offer against the open market.
