NBA Rumors: Milwaukee Bucks met with Jason Kidd on Friday
By Josh Hill
One of the more interesting stories in the NBA right now isn’t the Chicago Bulls pursuit of Carmelo Anthony or the which team will land LeBron James, it’s about the Bucks trying to steal Jason Kidd away from the Brooklyn Nets.

As the story goes, the Bucks are trying to get Jason Kidd away from the Nets and this weekend they began making a push in order to land him in Milwaukee. But the story gets a little deeper as it seems the Bucks and Kidd have already had a meeting which may end up being a violation of the league’s tampering policy, especially with how hot this story has become and how hot headed the Nets are over being double crossed.
This is a story that keeps getting more and more weird as the details continue to come out and it’s one that might end up actually playing out. The Bucks apparently want Kidd bad as they have no other reason to meet with him after the draft if they didn’t.
He’d be coming to Milwaukee, in theory at least, to become the team’s head coach but many believe that’s just a ploy to get the Nets to accept second round compensation to land him. Either way, the Bucks want Kidd bad and their interest in him was very clearly premeditated.
