Gasol has obviously been eligible to hit free agency in the past, but instead quickly got deals done. Now with the Lakers potentially rebuilding (although they are expected to pursue several big name free agents like Miami Heat forward LeBron James and New York Knicks’ forward Carmelo Anthony), Gasol could move moving on. He has expressed his desire to play for a contender.
The Lakers, however, still want to retain Gasol and the Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets and New York Knicks are all expected to make a move for Gasol.
According to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.com, the Atlanta Hawks, Golden State and Phoenx Suns are also after Gasol.

Shelburne points out the Warriors would have to acquire Gasol in a sign-and-trade.
Most teams interested in Gasol chasing Melo/Bron so he'll have to wait. Warriors also expected to have interest, but would need S&T
