NCAA Football programs used to use various tactics to sway a recruit on visits to campus. They’d set up their locker and put their name on the giant scoreboard to give them the full effect.
Professional franchises aren’t shy to use the same tactics when recruiting big name free agents, in this case the Chicago Bulls attempting to woo New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony.
The Bulls have Anthony’s likeness in a Bulls uniform outside the arena, trying to give him a taste of what it would be like to sign with the Bulls.
Bulls decked out the United Center with Melo signage and imaging of him in a Bulls uniform. First order of business is to explain finances.

The Bulls have enlisted some of their bigger stars to help recruit Carmelo.
Joakim Noah has entered the United Center. He is in very good spirits.
