Toronto Raptors’ point guard Kyle Lowry has become a very popular guy.

More from Los Angeles Lakers

Lowry is coming off of the best season of his career and helped the Raptors to a 48-34 record and an Atlantic Division title.

Now, Lowry is drawing interest from several teams. He already met with the Houston Rockets and was scheduled to meet with the Raptors again on Tuesday.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Lowry has finished his meeting with the Raptors. He is now mulling offers from both the Raptors and Rockets and is meeting with agent Andy Miller as the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers try to schedule a visit.

Point guard is obviously a huge issues for both the Heat and the Lakers. The Heat’s problems came to the forefront during the 4-1 loss to the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals. Both Mario Chalmers, who has been with the Heat since they acquired him on draft night in 2008 and is now an unrestricted free agent and Norris Cole, who is technically the only player under contract with the Heat right now, were non-existent. They acquired the 24th-overall pick, former Connecticut Huskies’ star Shabazz Napier, from the Charlotte Hornets last week and adding Lowry would give them one of the best sets of point guards in the league.

The Lakers lost Steve Nash for most of the season, traded Steve Blake to the Golden State Warriors and had several other injuries so they are also in serious need of an upgrade.

Lowry averaged 17.9 points, 7.4 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 42.3% from the field, 38.0% from beyond the arc and 81.3% from the charity stripe last season.
