The National Football League is a grind, with the average career just 3.2 years (a figure the NFL spin doctors greatly disputed during the 2011 lockout).

Regardless of whether you believe the 3.2-year number or the NFL’s 6.86-year figure, the bottom line is that teams constantly have to restock their organizations and depth charts with fresh young talent.

While offensive linemen can last for the better part of two decades so long as injuries don’t mount too much, other positions such as running back have much shorter shelf lives.

So with the eye on the young talent in the NFL, who are the 10 best players 25 or younger?

This list is limited to players who won’t turn 26 before Dec. 31.
