Eli Manning

There is no secret behind this. Eli has had a great run in New York. Hell, the guy won two Super Bowl MVP’s; most quarterbacks could only dream of that. Be that as it may, all good things seem to come to an end, and that end may be approaching on Manning’s relationship with the New York Football Giants.

Since Eli’s 31 TD tosses in 2010, that number has steadily dropped, reaching it’s lowest point last season at 16 (granted, he did also have a great year in 2011). The 27 interceptions he threw last season left many, including coach Tom Coughlin, searching for answers. The answer may be a change of scenery. Or, in typical Eli Manning fashion, it may be a Super Bowl run, followed by a bunch of cheesy commercials – who’s to say really.

If the former Ole Miss Rebel wants to stay in New York, he needs to show the NFL something. At this point, any interception could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
