The Miami Heat are struggling to find any sort of success in the free agent market this offseason and it’s starting to take a toll on the Big 3 they’re trying to keep intact.

Chris Bosh is the least likely member of the squad to return and it appears that the All-Star forward is already starting to look elsewhere for work, even if he’s not looking in specific places.
“One of those people, an executive with a rival team, said the growing belief around the league is that Bosh would prefer a four-year max deal with another team to a discounted longer deal with Miami,” according to NBA scribe Ken Berger from CBSSports.com.
This isn’t all that surprising though as Bosh has always been the third wheel on the Big 3 train that hauled the Heat to four straight NBA Finals appearances. He’s always been the most likely of the three to leave this summer and now that there is talk of such a thing happening, fans aren’t at all surprised.
He may very well return to the Heat next season but the fact of the matter is it won’t be for a penny less than the maximum and that’s something that is making Pat Riley’s life very hard at the moment.
