Los Angeles Lakers rumors: Carmelo Anthony, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Love play pick up at UCLA
By Jack Crosby
Well, this story will certainly get the NBA Free Agency world stirring up a little bit as it involves such stars as Kobe Bryant, Kevin Love and, one of the biggest free agents on the market, Carmelo Anthony, getting together in one place on Sunday afternoon.
According to ESPN’s Ian Begley, the three stars got together out west on the campus of UCLA for a little game of pick up basketball to pass the time on this holiday weekend.
But here’s the thing: While this may be a regular occurrence for three NBA stars to get together in the summer for a little workout, there could be some ramifications coming from this particular get together, especially between Anthony and Bryant.

As is stands this weekend, reportedly Anthony is down to a decision between the New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Lakers. While a normal offseason conversation might consist of anything other than what’s going on in the league, you have to wonder if there was a conversation between the two about what getting together this season would be like.
That necessarily doesn’t mean that Love is completely out of the fold in all of this, neither. The UCLA product is currently at the top of the NBA trade talk, but the Lakers getting anything together to deal with the Timberwolves at this point seems highly unlikely.
