According to Adrian Wojnarowski from Yahoo! Sports, the Mavs are pushing an offer sheet agreement with Parsons that would see him move from Houston to Dallas of the Rockets decide they don’t want to match whatever is offered up.
The Houston Rockets can match any offer that Parsons gets but they seem to be neck deep in offering Chris Bosh a max contract, which would not only take their focus away from Parsons but close the pocketbook in regards to him as well.
It’s not a done deal and Parsons hasn’t signed an offer sheet yet, but things are looking like they might be near that point as the Mavs are ready to strike in free agency. It may have taken three tries but the third time seems to be the charm for the Mavericks on the free agent market this year.
