Carmelo Anthony has reportedly informed the New York Knicks he will re-sign with them for five years and take their max contract offer of $129 million, according to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News, but the money could be secondary to the perks he’ll receive for staying in New York.

According to TMZ, Scores New York, very popular strip club, is preparing to offer one of the league’s top leading scorers an interesting proposal if he will stay in the Big Apple.
The Scores New York “Melo Love” package includes:
- Free lapdances for life.
- Judging the “Dollars For Scholars” amateur pole dancing competition (15,000 scholarship in his name to the winner.)
- A new drink called “The Melo Carmelo” to be served in the club forever.
- His own personal ball girl and cheerleading squad for every Knicks game that would only cheer for Carmelo.
- A topless charity basketball in his honor (in which he could play) … “where holding is not a foul.”
If you’re wondering why Anthony would re-sign with the Knicks after insisting that winning was his main priority to only reportedly return to the Knicks roster that missed the playoffs in a weak Eastern Conference last year, well it could be that he had some secondary perks to stay with the Knicks and see if Phil Jackson‘s plan for the future can work.
Anthony is married, so if he takes advantage of these free lapdances, he may end up paying a pretty big price tag in the form of alimony after a divorce settlement, but at least he would have his own drink named in his honor, a personal ball girl and will have a scholarship in his name to the best amateur pole dancer.
