Houston Rockets troll Dallas Mavericks, offer Dirk Nowitzki a max contract
By Josh Hill
The Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks do not like each other and that’s something that has become apparent thanks to the off-court antics the two teams are getting into that seems like nothing more than efforts to troll one another.

Dallas decided sign Chandler Parsons to an offer sheet on Wednesday and while it was a troll, it was one that was wrapped in an actual basketball move. The Rockets have countered with a straight up troll as they have a standing max contract offer out to Dirk Nowitzki that is still on the table.
While it’s an interesting move, the Rockets won’t be giving Dirk the contract and he won’t be accepting it. He’s already agreed to sign with the Dallas Mavericks and as a result the standing offer from the Rockets is nothing more than a moot pointed trolling effort.
Still, it’s worth nothing that the offer is out there and the ultimate troll for the Mavs would be to let Dirk take the contract, block the Rockets from adding Chris Bosh and throw their offseason out of whack thanks to a prank gone wrong.
