LeBron James teaming up with Carmelo Anthony might be ruined by Chris Bosh
By Josh Hill
The Miami Heat are starting to get desperate and that’s showing in their efforts to bring back LeBron James and how badly those efforts are going. Despite there being little cap space to play with, the Heat have been linked to Carmelo Anthony again and again in free agency and it seems that they’re going to be linked to him right up to the very end.

But there’s one thing that is going to mess up the Melo-LeBron-Heat union and that seems to be Chris Bosh playing the part of the awkward friend who just won’t go home. According to Sam Amico from Fox Sports Ohio, Bosh is waiting to see what LeBron does with the Heat to decide whether he’s going to return to Miami or take a max offer from the Houston Rockets.
LeBron and Melo teaming up seemed to be a long shot of happening anyways but this whole Bosh business seems to be the nail in the coffin. It’s still possible but Bosh holding out to see what LeBron does complicates things as Miami wants Bosh back and he wants to go back.
Still, Miami could always blow Bosh off and replace him with Melo on the payroll, but even that is something that seems like it will be hard to do, especailly after hearing Melo is likely to take a five-year max deal with the Knicks.
