It’s not exactly a secret that Chris Bosh’s desire is to remain a member of the Miami Heat and play alongside LeBron James.

However, with the rumor mill continuing to hint that LeBron will bolt the Heat and head back to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Bosh is considering taking his talents elsewhere as well, according to Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski.
"If James does leave Miami, Chris Bosh‘s intention is to also leave the Heat, league sources told Yahoo Sports. Bosh has been speaking with the Houston Rockets, who are prepared to clear enough cap room to offer him a four-year, $80 million-plus contract."
As Wojnarowski hints at, the Houston Rockets would appear to be the favorites to land Bosh if he leaves Miami. A Bosh-Rockets pairing would certainly make a lot of sense for both parties.
For the Rockets, they would finally have the third star they so desperately crave. Putting out a lineup that features Bosh, James Harden, Dwight Howard and Chandler Parsons would make Houston one of the top teams in the Western Conference and a championship favorite.
As for Bosh, not only would he continue to compete for titles, Houston would entice him because he could play his natural position (power forward) with Howard in the fold. His three-point shooting ability also makes him a great fit playing alongside Howard.
Bosh is waiting on LeBron like the rest of us, but it seems clear he’s ready to make a move when James ultimately makes his decision.
Bosh averaged 16.2 points and 6.6 rebounds per game last season with Miami.
