Chris Sheridan of Sheridan Hoops sent the NBA world into a frenzy on Wednesday night with his report that LeBron James heading back to the Cleveland Cavaliers is a done deal.
He writes:
"The Decision has been made. LeBron James is returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers, a league source tells SheridanHoops.com.James met with Miami Heat president Pat Riley today in Las Vegas to deliver the news. A contingent of other Heat officials were informed they were not welcome at the meeting, according to a source who spoke on condition of anonymity. An official announcement will be made on www.lebronjames.com, as I first reported yesterday."
However, ESPN’s Chris Broussard has just reported that LeBron has yet to make a decision.

Furthermore, Broussard has also reported that LeBron’s meeting with Pat Riley and the Heat just ended, which goes against Sheridan’s report that the meeting had already ended by the time he broke the news that LBJ’s decision had already been made.

Still, it is worth noting that Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski reported that James left the meeting without committing to the Heat, which surely isn’t a good sign for Miami.

While LeBron apparently hasn’t made his decision, it’s looking more and more like he will head home to Cleveland.
LeBron averaged 27.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 6.4 assists last season with the Heat.
