It seems almost every piece of LeBron James-news these days points to him returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers. There’s even one reporter, Chris Sheridan of Sheridan Hoops, that suggests James going back to the Cavs is a lock.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

"The Decision has been made. LeBron James is returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers, a league source tells SheridanHoops.com.James met with Miami Heat president Pat Riley today in Las Vegas to deliver the news. A contingent of other Heat officials were informed they were not welcome at the meeting, according to a source who spoke on condition of anonymity. An official announcement will be made on www.lebronjames.com, as I first reported yesterday."

However, according to a report from Steve Bulpett of the Boston Globe, there are those around the league that believe James will still remain with the Heat.

"Though most league sources still believe LeBron James will remain with Miami, the Cavaliers, now with more cap space, have told James that, if he returns to Cleveland, they are working on scenarios to get Love."

This falls in line with a Wednesday report from Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski.

These conflicting reports just go to show that no one knows what LeBron James is going to do except LeBron and it doesn’t sound like he’s going to make his choice known sometime shortly.

LeBron averaged 27.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 6.4 assists with the Heat last season.
