The Cleveland Cavaliers landed LeBron James in a shocking twist of events this morning and all seems to once again be right in the NBA. Cleveland still needs to make room for LeBron on their roster and in their books which is leading to cap saving trades that involve veteran players.

According to Marc Stein from ESPN, the Cavaliers are close to trading Alonzo Gee which would help free up every penny possible to squeeze LeBron on the books and possibly leave the door open and the bank account padded enough to make a run at Kevin Love.

It all doesn’t really matter though as the Cavaliers have managed to get LeBron James back and that’s something that no one thought would be possible. How they clear cap space seems to be nothing more than semantics at this point.
